Learn more about solar energy and Auric Solar when you visit them in Booth #1521 at the Salt Lake Tribune Home + Garden Festival. But first, meet the Auric team and see what they have have planned for the show in our brief interview below!
Please describe your products and services.
"Our customers power their every day using affordable, clean energy generated by solar power. It’s actually rather simple. We replace your power bill with a solar array system. Instead of “renting” your power from the grid, we help you own your means of generating electricity. So instead of paying a power bill for the rest of your life, you own solar panels that generate clean, renewable energy and help reduce pollution (which is a big problem in our state)."
What are your best home or garden tips for the season?
"Did you know there are big state and federal tax breaks for switching to solar? If you are considering making the switch, now is the time to pull the trigger! (Pro-tip: When we install your system, we also help you with all of your tax paperwork!)."
What are your home or garden pet peeves?
"Our biggest pet peeve is seeing rooftops with solar panels that don’t look nice. In our opinion, having solar panels that are aesthetically pleasing is an important part of doing a quality job (and keeping it up to code)."
What's the strangest client request you've ever received?
"We were once asked to install a solar array on a headstone for a customer."
What's your favorite part of the Salt Lake Tribune Home + Garden Show?
"We love seeing Utah businesses grow. Being at the home show helps you see just how many people are working hard to meet the needs of our community. It’s a great place for businesses and neighbors to come together. "
Is there anything else you think folks should know about your company?
"Solar energy will continue to grow in Utah and across the country. During 2016, 1 in 50 new jobs created nationwide were from the solar industry. And it only looks up from here! Solar is providing big economic benefit to Utah and addressing our local needs. We look forward to working together with everyone in our community to make energy affordable and reduce the impact on our beautiful Utah environments."
The Salt Lake Tribune Home + Garden Show takes over the South Towne Expo Center March 10-12, 2017. With hundreds of home improvement experts ready to help with your next project, it's a must-attend event for SLC homeowners. Don't have tickets yet? Get 2-for-1 on Facebook and treat a friend or family member to the show. We can't wait to see you there!
