Mar 9, 2018, 14:23 PM
Karl Champley will join this year’s Salt Lake Tribune Home and Garden Show!
This Master Builder has a long list of accomplishments - he is the host of Wasted Space on DIY Network, won Ellen’s Design Challenge on HGTV, is the business owner of KJC Building Services, and is a radio host, author, and blogger.
Karl keeps his designs and building techniques current, and has a passion for environmentally friendly homes and materials - even building his own green home from start to finish. He can tell you all about “going green” at the Salt Lake Tribune Home + Garden Show, March 9-11.
Can't wait to see the home improvement expert on our Design Stage? Here are four tips and tricks from the multi-talented Karl Champley:
1. Removing clutter from kitchen cupboards and reorganizing can make a huge difference. This way you are left with only the things you use and your kitchen space feels much bigger!
2. Homeowners should always organize and take inventory of their tools before beginning any home improvement project. It will save you time and money.
3. An easy way to make your home greener is to switch to LED or CFL light bulbs. They use 75% less energy and can save money on your electric bill.
4. Three important tools for beginners to keep in their toolkits are a drill driver, tape measure, and a 4-foot level.
Karl Champley will be on the Design Stage Friday, March 9th at 5pm, Saturday, March 10th at 1pm and 7pm, and Sunday, March 11th at 2pm. Don't have ticket yet? Buy online to save $2 and start planning your visit. We can't wait to see you there!
